reSettled Life Celebrates New Showroom

In May 2023, we finalized the purchase of 10087 Old Union Rd which now serves as the reSettled Life Showroom, a dedicated space for consignment auctions as well as a meeting space for clients and customers. Our new Showroom has some history to the city of Union. It was the original city of Union Firehouse, built in 1977. From 1977-2007 it served the city of Union as the Firehouse and then as the community building from 2008-2017, meeting different needs and serving as a gathering place for events such as a community theater. Over the past 6 years, the building was used as a private storage facility for vintage cars. We love the deep Union memories that our Showroom has and are excited to reinvest that rich community experience back into the city of Union. 

The Showroom gives us several ways to serve our client's needs on a new level. Having ample space, we have now tripled our available capacity for consignments, a dedicated area to staging items for clients who may not have an entire home to clear out or may not be able to have a traditional online auction from their home. The space is also equipped with a comfortable office space to meet with clients or customers. The Showroom is readied with six extra large bay doors, no steps, and abundant parking, creating an ideal setup for quick and easy auction pickups. 

reSettled Life has evolved and grown tremendously in the 8 years since it was founded. What originally started as a company focused on senior move management has shifted somewhat to concentrate on the house itself. We have found that the greatest need clients and families have is the house and the possessions inside the home. We still serve in move management and love managing moves for our clients, but most of our time is focused on clearing a home, sorting it for auction items, conducting an online auction, handling donations and garbage removal. We completely empty the house and leave it broom swept and vacuumed. Along with the added service of real estate, powered by Regional Realty, reSettled Life is a one-stop shop to help someone downsize, move, reSettle, clear the home, sell personal property and sell the house.

We are currently breathing new life into the building by updating the interior and exterior. It had been remodeled to improve everything from adding a big storefront window and new doors to updated bathrooms and a kitchen. reSettled Life feels grateful to have always been a Union-based business and is excited to plant roots with a physical location to be a part of something bigger in Union. We look forward to serving the community in whatever capacity that would look like for all downsizing, decluttering, auction and real estate needs.
